About Reynolda Village Shops & Restaurants

Reynolda Village is comprised of charming historic buildings which once supported the 1,067 acre estate of the R.J. Reynolds family.

These buildings now house boutique shops, restaurants, and services. Dumplings in a restored corn crib? Doughnuts in a former dairy barn? Yes please!

The buildings were modeled after an English Village and included dairy barns, a cattle shed, school, post office, smokehouse, blacksmith shop, carriage house, central power and heating plant as well as cottages to house the family’s key staff members.

Reynolda Village is part of the Reynolda estate, which includes the world-class Reynolda House Museum of American Art and stunning Reynolda Gardens.

It's a beautiful well maintained park and shopping place. Excellent to go for morning walks. Plenty of parking is available. Peaceful and you can hear birds! Great for long or short walks/ jog.

First tries this place 2 weeks ago. I've been back 3 more time since. I feel its the best bang for your buck. Burgers are big, fries portion is big, the drink is big. If you get fries though. Eat them there. They dont travel well.

Various shops & businesses inhabit this area, which is on the campus of Wake-Forest University & the former Reynolda estate. There are several free parking lots, several shops & restaurants & ready access to the trails & gardens as well.

Always a five star experience. I got here with friends, I go here for my birthday, I take family from out of town here, you would think it’s a Winston Salem attraction. Definitely go here if you’re looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon. These pictures were taken at penny path cafe~ but there’s so much else to do along with penny path. There are cute little book shops, old art galleries and museums, retail shops, dough joes for coffee and pastries, the gardens, a small hiking trail, May way dumplings, and so much more!
